Allan Barker Trophy
As well as being a driver, Allan was a BSCDA Chairman, and Clerk of the Course at Belle Vue and Bradford. He was instrumental in setting up the Trust Fund, along with Derek Holmes. He passed away in March 2006. The trophy is a real silver cup donated by Malcolm Illingworth. It is presented to meeting final winner at the Trust Fund Meeting.

From 1975 to 1982, the trophy was presented at SCOTA F1 meetings at Arena Essex and Wimbledon. In 1993, it was presented at a V8 Hot Stox meeting - Gordon Smith won in son Eliot's car.

Steve (240) suffered serious injury in a racing incident at Bradford in June 1984. He passed away on 11th July 1984. The trophy was originated by the BSCDA Committee and paid for by Three Counties and South Yorkshire (SYDS) Supporters Clubs, and Tony & Will Merrill. Presented at the Trust Fund meeting. 1988-1989 to final winner, 1990-2005 to GN winner, and 2006 onwards awarded to either White/Yellow Top Race winner, or top white top points scorer, or top scoring yellow top if no white tops have scored, or highest placed white/yellow top in a specific race.

Donated to the BSCDA in memory of Terry (29), who raced 1954-1974. He was a Life Member and former Chairman of the BSCDA. In 1981 and 1982 the trophy was raced for at Belle Vue. From 1983 to 1985 it was awarded by the committee based on merit or sportsmanship. From 1986-1988 voted by BSCDA members for achievement. Since 1989 it has been awarded to the driver who wins the most white/yellow/blue grade awards during season.
