There have been two different tracks known as Belle Vue.
The original Belle Vue was a speedway stadium built on the athletics ground within the Belle Vue Zoological Gardens complex in Manchester. Speedway was introduced in 1929, and stock car racing in 1954. The stadium was demolished in 1987.
The Aces Speedway Team moved to the nearby greyhound stadium, but stock cars did not due to lack of pit space. That changed with the demolition of the back straight grandstand, and stock car racing returned to Belle Vue in 1999. It remained until 2019, when the stadium was sold off and demolished.
