Torrential rain all night made lap scoring very tricky, and the winners of heats 1 and 2 are not certain. The results announced on the night gave Bradbury third place, and Blair sixth place, but this was widely disputed and both were believed to have won.
The Novelty Race featured cars with loose tyres attached to the rear; the winner was the last car to have any tyres remainining.
Staines beat the local challengers in the team race.
