Registered as DA Hewitt of Twickenham. The driver's name only came to light in 2020 when his niece Edna sent in photos of her uncle Ernie and his stock car. DA Hewitt is assumed to be the owner or sponsor of the cars. It the early days it was not uncommon for a businessman to buy a stock car and then have someone else drive it.
