Real name Walter Frank Morice. Born Gisborne, New Zealand.
He was a navigator in No75 Squadron in the Royal New Zealand Air Force in World War II. Mentioned in Despatches, 8 Jun 1944 - “In recognition of distinguished service and devotion to duty".
After racing stock cars, he went into circuit racing, and entered several GP races in 1956.
