Wrecker Meadway was not actually the driver's name, but the name given to the car by its owner, the Meadway Motor Spares company. They also owned Tatter Meadway.
The owner of Meadway Motor Spares was Bill Morris, who took over Hednesford Raceway in 1962, and invented Hot Rod Racing in the UK.
Bill, his brother Derek, and Wally Jones are known to have been the drivers of Wrecker and Tatter, although there may have been others.
