BriSCA F1 World Of Shale Championship
Originating within the Startrax organisation, the WOS is designed to offer a shale based annual Championship to balance the tarmac only events such as the Uk Open and European Championships.
From quiet beginnings, the event was rapidly growing in stature, with qualifying rounds held at all UK shale tracks, leading up to WOS Final, open to the top points scorers, and run in points order - highest scorer in pole position. However, the WOS Championship did not run in 2014, for reasons unknown. It remains to be seen if the title will be contested again in the future.
